Never know who you will meet at Type-A

Change is not around the corner. It’s here. For me, at least.

2014 has been a year of trying on the new, rejecting what didn’t fit, and moving on. It has also been a year of finally saying some things just don’t fit any more. I think I’ve found the right match. Now I have to quit looking and get busy making the necessary changes.

I determined around the first of November that my writing, blogging, and other aspects of my professional life need re-branding. You know, out with the old and in with the new. O.K. some things will stay the same, but others are heading to storage.

Well, what did I do with that decision? I planned. I thought. I read. I learned. I didn’t get started. It dawned on me that there are times that all the best advice about planning calendars and to-do list are distractions and procrastination techniques. Shields I’ve used all the good tools to protect myself from change, which we all know is uncomfortable.

I realized a year ago that this change was coming. Since I’m heading into a new direction for my blog, I decided that I needed to learn more about the blogging adventure. Step one was attending the Type-A Parent Conference in Atlanta. I figured, I’m a type-A personality; I’m a parent; I wanted to be around others to learn from their success.

That’s why I’m already registered for Type-A Parent 7th Annual Conference (Atlanta, October 8-10, 2015). There’s so much more to learn. Plus great bloggers Ifriends, food, fellowship want to connect with again.

  • Are you a beginner? You need Type-A.
  • Are you experienced? You need Type-A.
